FedEx Integration
Quick Summary: Connect your FedEx account to ship orders using your own FedEx rates and services.
Overview
The FedEx Integration lets you connect your own FedEx shipping account to FedEx. Once connected, you can:
- Ship orders using your FedEx account rates
- Select which FedEx services to enable (e.g., FedEx International Priority, FedEx Ground)
- Configure special services like signature options
- Enable or disable the integration at any time
FedEx integrations appear on the Integrations page alongside your e-commerce integrations.
Note: If you don't see the option to add a FedEx integration, contact your Account Manager to enable it.
Prerequisites
Before connecting FedEx, you need:
- A valid FedEx account number
- Your FedEx account billing address (must match the address on file with FedEx)
- Write permission on Integrations in your portal
Note: If you don't have write access, ask your company administrator to update your permissions.
Quick Start
- Navigate to Integrations
- Click the + button to add a new integration
- Select FedEx from the available couriers
- Read and accept the FedEx End-User License Agreement
- Enter your Account Number, Region, and Billing Address
- Add at least one FedEx service and click Complete
Detailed Guide
Step 1: Accept the FedEx Agreement
When you start a new FedEx integration, the first screen shows the FedEx End-User License Agreement (EULA).
- Read the agreement text
- Check the box "I have read and agree to the terms of the FedEx End-User License Agreement"
- Click Next
You can also download a PDF copy of the EULA using the Download EULA button in the top-right corner.
Note: You must accept the agreement before proceeding. The Next button remains disabled until the checkbox is checked.
Step 2: Enter Your Account Details
The account setup page collects your FedEx credentials and billing information.
Account details:

Click Next when all required fields are filled.
Warning: Account details and billing address become read-only after initial setup. Make sure all information is correct before proceeding. To correct details after setup, contact your Account Manager.
Step 3: Configure Services
After entering your account details, you configure which FedEx shipping services to enable.
The services screen shows a table with your configured services and lets you add new ones.
To add a service:
- Click + Add New Service (or Add Service on the detail page)
- In the modal that opens:
- Select a Courier from the dropdown — this is the FedEx service type (e.g., FedEx International Priority)
- Enter a Courier Name — a display name for this service
- Toggle Active to enable the service
- Check any Special Services you want (e.g., signature required)
- Click Save
To edit a service:
- Click the courier name link in the services table
- Modify the settings in the modal
- Click Save
Note: The Courier (service type) cannot be changed after a service is created. To use a different service type, add a new service.
- When you have at least one service configured, click Complete to finish the setup
Result: Your FedEx integration appears as a card on the integrations page with Active status.
Managing Your FedEx Integration
Viewing Integration Details
Navigate to Integrations and click the FedEx card to open the detail page.
The detail page shows:
- Status toggle — switch between Active and Inactive
- Account section — your FedEx account number, region, and billing address (read-only)
- Services table — all configured FedEx services with their status
Enabling or Disabling the Integration
- Open the FedEx integration detail page
- Toggle the Status switch in the header
- Click Save
When set to Inactive:
- No orders will ship through this FedEx account
- All services under this integration are also disabled
- You cannot enable individual services while the integration is inactive
Managing Services
From the integration detail page, you can:

| Enable/disable a service | Edit the service and toggle the Active switch |
Note: A service cannot be activated if the parent integration is set to Inactive. Enable the integration first.
Downloading the EULA
Click the Download EULA button (download icon) in the top-right corner of the detail page to download a PDF of the FedEx End-User License Agreement.
Workflows
Workflow: Connect a New FedEx Account
When: You want to ship orders using your own FedEx rates.
Steps:
- Navigate to Integrations
- Click the + button
- Select FedEx
- Accept the EULA, then click Next
- Enter your account number, region, and billing address, then click Next
- Add at least one service, then click Complete
Result: FedEx integration card appears with Active status. Orders can now use your FedEx services.
Workflow: Add a New FedEx Service
When: You want to enable an additional FedEx shipping service (e.g., FedEx Ground alongside FedEx International Priority).
Steps:
- Open your FedEx integration detail page
- Click Add Service in the services section
- Select the service type, enter a name, toggle Active, and select special services
- Click Save
Result: New service appears in the services table with Active status.
Workflow: Temporarily Disable FedEx Shipping
When: You want to stop using your FedEx account temporarily without removing the integration.
Steps:
- Open your FedEx integration detail page
- Toggle the Status switch to Inactive
- Click Save
Result: Integration shows Inactive status. No orders ship through this account until re-enabled.
Workflow: Re-enable a Disabled Service
When: You previously disabled a service and want to use it again.
Steps:
- Ensure the FedEx integration itself is Active
- Click the service name in the services table
- Toggle Active on
- Click Save
Result: Service shows Active status and is available for shipping.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Cause | Solution |

| Cannot find FedEx integration option | Feature not enabled for your account | Contact your Account Manager |
| Next button disabled on agreement page | EULA checkbox not checked | Check the agreement checkbox |
| Cannot edit account number or billing address | Details are locked after initial setup | Contact your Account Manager to update account details |
| Cannot enable a service | The parent integration is set to Inactive | Enable the integration first, then enable the service |
| Add Service button not visible | You don't have write permission on integrations, or the integration is Inactive | Ask your company administrator to update your access. If the integration is inactive, enable it first |
| FedEx services not appearing for order shipping | Services are set to Inactive or integration is disabled | Check that both the integration and the relevant service are Active |
| Error saving account details | Required fields missing or invalid data | Check all required fields are filled with valid information |
| Shipping label errors mentioning address issues | Billing address may not match FedEx records | Contact your Account Manager to verify the billing address on file |
