Shopline

Shopline Integration

Quick Summary: Connect your Shopline store using OAuth to import orders, push fulfillment updates, and manage returns.

Overview

The Shopline integration connects your Shopline store to FedEx using Shopline's secure OAuth authorization. Once connected, orders are imported automatically, fulfillment updates with tracking numbers are pushed when orders ship, and return requests can be imported.

Quick Start

  1. Navigate to Integrations and click Add New Integration
  2. Select Shopline
  3. Enter your Shopline store domain and click Continue
  4. Log in to Shopline and authorize the connection
  5. Configure sync settings on the integration detail page
  6. Click Save

Before You Connect

Make sure you have:

  • Merchant admin access to your Shopline store
  • Your Shopline store domain (the subdomain part before .myshopline.com)
  • Matching SKUs already created in FedEx
  • Correct product customs values in FedEx, if FedEx should use portal customs data

Connecting Your Shopline Store

Step 1: Start the Connection

  1. Click your profile iconAccount ManagementIntegrations

  2. Click Add New Integration

  3. Select Shopline from the platform list
  4. Enter your Shopline store domain when prompted
  5. Click Continue to begin authorization

Step 2: Log In and Authorize

You will be redirected to the Shopline login page. Enter your Shopline account credentials and sign in. Review the permissions requested and click Authorize and Install to complete the connection.

Step 3: Configure Settings

After successful authorization, you will be redirected back to FedEx. The integration shows as Active. Review and adjust the settings described below, then click Save.

Tip: Orders will start importing automatically within minutes of connecting.

Integration Settings

Status

Toggle between Active and Inactive. When inactive, no orders are imported and no sync occurs. When you re-activate a previously inactive integration, the system reconnects and resumes order import automatically.

Order Sync Settings

Setting Description
Sync Payment Statuses Choose which Shopline payment statuses trigger order import
Ignore non-shipping items Skip line items that do not require physical shipping
Ignore not found items Continue importing an order when an item cannot be matched
Split sales order by location Create separate orders in FedEx based on Shopline locations
Mark Fulfillments Push tracking numbers and fulfillment status back to Shopline when orders ship
Send fulfillment notification Control whether Shopline sends shipping notification emails to your customers
Pull Customs Value From Choose where customs values come from for international shipments

Inventory Sync Settings

Setting Description
Sync Inventory Push inventory levels from FedEx to your Shopline store
Inventory Threshold A reserved quantity to subtract from available stock before pushing to Shopline

When Sync Inventory is enabled, you can also configure per-product thresholds for specific SKUs. Use the Inventory Thresholds section on the integration detail page to set reserves for high-demand items.

Return Order Settings

Setting Description
Sync Return Orders Import Shopline return requests into FedEx
Sending return orders Create return records in Shopline for eligible returns started in FedEx
Close return order Choose which return statuses close the return in Shopline

Filters

Use filters to control which orders are imported from your Shopline store. Set rules based on Shipping Country, Shipping Option, or Item SKU to import only the orders you want FedEx to process.

Location Mapping

When Split sales order by location is enabled or when using inventory sync, you can map Shopline locations to FedEx warehouses. Use the Locations Mapping section on the integration detail page to assign each Shopline location to a ship-from warehouse.

Re-Authorization

If your Shopline connection expires or permissions change, you may need to re-authorize:

  1. Open your Shopline integration in FedEx
  2. Click the Re-Authorize button
  3. Complete the authorization flow in Shopline
  4. Your integration reconnects automatically

How Order Sync Works

  1. Real-time: Shopline sends notifications when orders are created, updated, cancelled, or paid
  2. Scheduled: The system also checks your store regularly for any orders the real-time updates may have missed
  3. Orders matching your filter rules and payment status settings are imported
  4. The Last Orders Sync timestamp shows when orders were last imported

How Fulfillment Sync Works

When an order is shipped from FedEx:

  1. The tracking number and carrier information are pushed to Shopline
  2. The Shopline order is marked as fulfilled
  3. If Send fulfillment notification is enabled, Shopline emails the customer with tracking details

How Inventory Sync Works

When Sync Inventory is enabled:

  1. FedEx monitors stock level changes
  2. Updated quantities (minus any threshold) are pushed to your Shopline store
  3. If location mapping is configured, stock is updated at the correct Shopline location
  4. Per-product thresholds override the global threshold for specific SKUs

Tip: Inventory sync is one-way: from FedEx to Shopline. Changes made directly in Shopline will be overwritten on the next sync.

How Return Order Sync Works

When Sync Return Orders is enabled:

  1. Shopline return requests are imported into FedEx
  2. Eligible returns started in FedEx can be sent back to Shopline
  3. Return status updates are managed through the standard returns process
