Stock and order behavior
Group stock is calculated from its components. The group does not have separately managed free stock.
For each warehouse, divide every component's available stock by its group quantity. The smallest result is the number of complete groups available.
When an order uses a group SKU, the order expands into separate component lines for fulfillment.
Group item detail page
Select a group item's SKU in the list to open it.
Actions
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Edit | Change the description, components, or component quantities |
| Delete | Remove the group item from the list |
The group SKU stays read-only when you edit it. Deleting a group item removes it from future selection.

Troubleshooting
| Issue | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| A group shows zero stock | One component cannot supply one complete group | Check warehouse stock and every component quantity |
| A component is missing from search | The SKU is misspelled, belongs to another account, or is unsupported | Verify the component in Products |
| Save reports an unsupported item | The component is a Pallet, Packaging Item, Group Item, or Item Variant | Replace it with a Base Item, Inner Carton, or Master Carton |
| Save reports a duplicate component | The same component is listed twice | Combine the quantities into one row |
| Save reports an invalid quantity | The quantity is zero or cannot be read as a whole number | Enter a positive whole number |
| Save reports that the group SKU exists | Another group uses the SKU | Enter a unique group SKU |
| A valid bulk upload created no groups | The results were reviewed but not applied | Open the valid results and select Save |
