Inventory: Overview
Inventory
Quick Summary: Manage the products, kits, variants, and packaging that make up your orders.
Overview
The Inventory section is where you set up and manage everything that ships in your orders. Before you can create orders, your products need to be registered here with the correct details — SKU, dimensions, weight, customs information, and more.
Inventory includes five areas:
| Section | What it does |
|---|---|
| Products | Individual items you sell and ship |
| Group Items | Kits or bundles that combine multiple products into one SKU |
| Item Variants | Products with interchangeable alternatives (e.g., color variations with priority-based selection) |
| Packaging | Boxes and packaging materials used to ship your orders |
| ASN | Inbound shipments to send stock to the warehouse |
Quick Start
- Navigate to Inventory
- Click the + menu and select Add Product
- Enter the required fields: SKU, Description, Harmonized Code, Customs Description, Customs Value, Country of Manufacture, Packaging Type, and Base Item Dimensions (Width, Height, Length, Weight)
- Click Save
- Your product is now available when creating orders
Tip: Need to add many products at once? Use Product Bulk Upload from the + menu. See Product Bulk Upload for details.
What You Need to Know
Products Are Required for Orders
Every order line references a product by SKU. Before creating an order — manually or through an integration — the product must exist in your inventory with valid dimensions and customs information.
Accurate Dimensions and Weight Matter
Couriers use dimensions and weight to calculate shipping rates. Inaccurate values may result in billing adjustments after the warehouse verifies the actual measurements.
Customs Information Is Required for International Shipping
Every product needs a Harmonized Code, Customs Description, and Customs Value for international shipments. Missing or incorrect customs data can cause shipment delays at customs.
Stock Levels
The product list shows current stock levels per warehouse. The product detail page shows a breakdown:
| Stock Type | Meaning |
|---|---|
| On Hand | Total physical stock at the warehouse |
| Quarantine | Stock set aside for inspection or quality issues |
| Available | Stock available for new orders |
| Reserved | Stock allocated to existing orders |
| Pending Return | Stock in transit back from customers |
| Total Available | Available stock across all warehouses |
Detailed Guide
Products
Your core catalog. Each product has a unique SKU, physical dimensions, customs information, and optional attributes like battery or dangerous goods declarations.
See Products for the complete guide.
Product Bulk Upload
Upload multiple products at once using an Excel template. Useful for initial setup or adding large batches of new products.

Group Items (Kits & Bundles)

Item Variants
Set up interchangeable products under a single variant SKU. The system selects the best available variant based on priority and destination rules — useful when you have multiple suppliers or regional product versions.
