Quick Summary: How your FedEx portal is organized — menus, search, notifications, and page layouts

Detailed Guide

Finding What You Need

Three ways to navigate the portal:

  1. Menu navigation — browse sections hierarchically
  2. Search — find specific orders, products, or ASNs by number or SKU
  3. Notifications — click alerts to go directly to items needing attention

Working with Lists

Most portal sections use a list-detail pattern:

  1. List page — shows all records with search, filters, and sorting
  2. Detail page — click any row to see full details and available actions
  3. Filters — narrow results by status, date, warehouse, or other criteria. Active filter count shows on the filter icon badge
  4. Bulk actions — select multiple rows with checkboxes to apply actions in batch

Tip: Filters persist until you clear them. If a list looks empty, check for active filter chips above the results.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Shortcut Action
Ctrl/Cmd + K Open global search

Use the search bar (or press Ctrl/Cmd + K) to quickly find:

  • Orders — by order number, client PO, or tracking number
  • Products — by SKU
  • ASNs — by ASN number or tracking number

Type at least 2 characters . Results appear in a dropdown — click any result to go directly to that record.

Notifications

The notification bell shows system alerts. A dot appears when you have unread notifications.

Common notifications include: - File downloads — when an export or report is ready to download - ASN received — when an inbound shipment is received at the warehouse

Click the bell to see recent notifications, or click View All to open the full notifications page.

Announcements

The announcements icon shows product updates and new features when available. Check it periodically for the latest platform improvements.
