Quick Summary: Your operations overview — order volumes, delivery stats, and key metrics at a glance

Overview

The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It gives you a real-time snapshot of your operations — order volumes, delivery performance, top shipping destinations, and items that need attention.

Quick Start

  1. Log in to your FedEx portal
  2. The Dashboard loads automatically as your home page
  3. Review the summary widgets for a quick operations overview
  4. Use the date filters to adjust the time range
  5. Click any stat or chart element to jump directly to the relevant orders

Date Range

At the top of the dashboard, select a time period to filter all charts:

Button Range
Monthly Past 30 days
Quarterly Past 90 days
Yearly Past 365 days
Custom Pick specific start and end dates

Click the refresh icon to reload all widgets with the latest data.

Dashboard Widgets

Orders Graph

A line chart showing your order volume over the selected time period. Use this to identify trends and seasonal patterns.

Top Countries

A chart showing your top shipping destinations by order count. Helps you understand where your customers are located.

Courier Statistics

A breakdown of orders by courier. See which shipping carriers handle the most volume.

Source Statistics

Shows where your orders come from — manual entry, Shopify, WooCommerce, or other integrations.

Quick View

Highlights items that may need your attention:

Metric What It Means
Orders with Incorrect Address/Postal Code Orders flagged with address issues — click to review and fix
Shipping Errors Orders that encountered a shipping error — click to review
On-Hold ASNs Inbound shipments paused for review — click to check details
Out of Stock Orders waiting on stock availability — click to review
Pending Approval Orders waiting for your approval — click to approve

Each metric is clickable — it takes you directly to the filtered list of affected orders or ASNs.

Account Status

Shows your financial snapshot:

Metric What It Means
Current Usable Balance Your available account balance
Payment Due Amount Outstanding payment amount
Payment Due On Next payment deadline
Delivery Percentage Percentage of orders successfully delivered

Order Analysis

Below the main widgets, the Order Analysis section provides deeper insights:

  • Orders Summary — status breakdown of your orders
  • Work Orders Summary — work order status overview
  • ASN Summary — inbound shipment status overview
  • Return Orders Summary — return status overview
  • Orders Trend — order volume trend over time
  • Average Courier Transit Time — how long shipments take by courier
  • In-Transit Orders — currently shipping orders
  • Delayed Orders — orders past expected delivery date
  • Country Statistics — detailed destination breakdown

Note: Not all widgets may be visible. Widget availability depends on your account configuration.

Warehouse Analysis

The Warehouse Analysis section shows warehouse-level metrics:

  • Shipment by Status — order distribution across processing stages
  • Order Fulfillment — fulfillment performance metrics
  • Warehouse Usage — storage utilization
  • Return Orders Statistics — return volume and trends
  • Highest Shipped SKUs — your most-shipped products
  • Low Moving SKUs — products with low movement (may need attention)
  • Low Stock Inventory — products running low on stock

Use the Warehouse dropdown to filter by specific warehouse when you have multiple locations.

Note: Not all widgets may be visible. Widget availability depends on your account configuration and permissions.

Reading Your Dashboard

The dashboard is designed for quick scanning. Focus on these elements in order:

  1. Order summary counters — check for any Pending Approval orders that need your attention
  2. Quick View alerts (if visible) — these highlight items needing action: address issues, shipping errors, out-of-stock orders
  3. Trends — review the orders trend chart for volume patterns
  4. Courier performance — check average transit times to compare carrier speed

Taking Action from the Dashboard

Most dashboard elements are clickable:

  • Click a counter to jump to the filtered order list
  • Click a Quick View metric to see the affected orders
  • Click chart elements to drill down into the data

Dashboard vs. Reports

The dashboard shows real-time operational data. For historical analysis, export data from individual sections (Orders, Billing, ASN) using their Export features.

Workflows

Workflow: Check Daily Operations

When: You want a quick overview of today's order activity.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to your Dashboard (it loads automatically on login)
  2. Review the summary widgets at the top for order counts and status breakdowns
  3. Check for any alerts or exceptions that need attention
  4. Click on a metric to drill down to the relevant orders list

Result: You have a clear picture of your current operations.

Workflow: Investigate an Order Alert

When: The dashboard shows orders that need attention.

Steps:

  1. On the Dashboard, locate the widget showing the alert (e.g., exceptions, pending approval)
  2. Click the count or the widget to navigate to the filtered orders list
  3. Review and resolve each flagged order

Result: Alerts are addressed and order flow resumes.

Troubleshooting

Issue Cause Solution
Dashboard shows no data Date range may be too narrow or account is newly created Expand the date range or wait for orders to be processed
Charts not loading Browser may need a refresh Press Ctrl/Cmd + R to reload the page
Numbers don't match order list Dashboard may use cached data Click the refresh button to reload with latest data
Widget not visible Widget may not be enabled for your account Contact your Account Manager

How often does the dashboard update? Dashboard data refreshes each time you load the page. Click the refresh button to get the latest numbers.

Can I customize which widgets are shown? Widget visibility is configured at the account level. Contact your Account Manager if you'd like to change what you see.

What timezone does the dashboard use? The dashboard uses your browser's local timezone for date filtering and display.
