Quick Summary: Use the menu, search, notifications, and account controls to move through FedEx

Overview

The portal uses a main menu for sections and page-level controls for records. Search, notifications, and account options provide faster routes to common tasks.

Sections, child pages, and account options appear only when your access and account configuration allow them.

Quick start

  1. Open Dashboard for current order and shipping activity.
  2. Use the menu or sidebar to open another section.
  3. Open search when you know an order or product identifier.
  4. Use the notification bell for recent alerts.
  5. Open the profile controls for account settings, support, and logout.

The left menu contains the main sections and their child pages.

The account menu shows options available to your user.

Click the search icon, or press Ctrl/Cmd + K, to open search. Describe what you need or enter a record number.

Search finds available pages, filtered lists, orders, products and other records within your account access. For an order, search matches its number, client PO, or tracking number, and it matches the recipient's full name or complete email address on your own orders, including delivered orders. Matched values are underlined. The chips beside a result show the filters that will apply when you open it.

For an exact barcode match, enter products upc 00012345 . Leading zeros stay intact. Search one UPC at a time. Different UPCs in one request prompt you to choose one. For a setting value, try automatic order approval setting . Invoice results follow the invoices available in your billing page.

Move with the arrow keys to read a result's details. Press Enter, or click the result, to open its page. Press Escape to close search. The first results remain usable while the search finishes reading your request. Press Ctrl/Cmd + Enter to open a result in a new tab and keep search open. Select Clear search beside the field to start another request.

When the assistant is available, a message icon appears at the right side of the search field. Hover over it or focus it with the keyboard to read Ask Assistant. Select it to copy your request into the assistant composer. Review the question and send it there. Finish or clear an existing assistant draft before transferring a different request.

Available details include shipment places, courier, destination country, source, order lines, product measurements, invoice amounts and settings. Card fields use one column on phones and two columns on wider screens, with the label above each value. Company logos, product images and integration logos appear when available. One result uses a single compact card. Its heading opens the result, and its details scroll together. Select Open result on a card to open its record. On a phone, tap a row to preview it first. If the card says Preview unavailable, select Retry preview. The result list stays available. A tracking map shows recorded tracking locations. Cards do not show a shipment-route summary. If a requested value is missing, the card says Not recorded and keeps the record link. With several results, the list and selected details scroll separately on small screens. When the same name identifies more rows than the panel can show, the status asks you to narrow the search. If external interpretation is used, emails, phone numbers, addresses, credentials and record identifiers are masked before they leave the portal.

Notifications

Open the bell from the menu controls.

An unread marker appears on the bell. Select it to review recent notifications. Select View All to open the Notifications page.

Announcements

When announcements are enabled, a news control can appear in the menu controls. Use it to read product updates and release announcements.

Keyboard shortcuts

Page layouts

List pages

List pages show records with controls for the available data. Use page search, filters, sorting, exports, or bulk actions when those controls appear.

On phones, … opens the available table actions. These can include Columns, export, bulk actions, and Bulk search. Choices open in bottom drawers, with one option per row. Selected and pinned filters share a row below search. Scroll that row sideways to see more filters. Open Add filters for date ranges and other conditions when that control appears. Use Back to filters to choose another filter without clearing your current selections. The pagination footer stays at the bottom during loading and empty results.

Detail pages

Select a record to open its detail page when details are available. Actions on the page depend on the record's current state and your access.

Workflows

Find an order
