Integrations: Overview

Integrations

Quick Summary: Connect supported stores and account services to Floship, then manage their status and settings. For: Clients Level: Beginner

Overview

Use Integrations to add and manage connections between Floship and supported services. A connection can exchange orders, fulfillment updates, tracking, and other account data. The fields and behavior depend on the service.

An existing card opens the connection settings. A setup card starts a new connection. Available cards and settings depend on your account access and service features.

The page can also show MCP connection cards and Public API. The + window groups available connections under Tracking, Courier, Market Place Integrations, and API Integration. Some groups may not appear.

Note: A card in the selection window means the service is available to add. It does not mean a connection is active.

Before you start

  • Confirm that Integrations is available to your user.
  • You need write access to add a connection or select Save.
  • Have the store URL, account details, or credentials requested by the service.
  • Check existing cards before adding another connection for the same store or account.

If +, Save, or another edit control is missing, ask your company administrator for write access.

Quick start

In the username menu at the top right, select Account Management, then select Integrations.

  1. Select +.
  2. Select the service you want to connect.
  3. Complete the fields or authorization steps shown on its card.
  4. Select Save when it appears and finish any authorization prompt.
  5. Confirm that the new connection appears with the expected status.

Setup steps vary by service. Follow the card instead of assuming that every connection uses credentials or a Save button.

Manage connections

Select an existing card to open its settings. Changes to status, synchronization, or other options require write access.

Status

Active allows future synchronization. Inactive stops future synchronization for that connection. Imported orders and other existing data remain.

To pause a connection, set Status to Inactive and select Save. To resume it, set Status to Active and select Save.

Credentials and authorization

Stored credentials are not displayed after saving. Enter a new value only when you need to replace the saved credential.

Some connections show Re-Authorize. Use it when the store or service asks you to renew access. Other connections request credential or connection fields instead.

If an inactive connection shows no recovery action, contact your Account Manager.

Filters

Some platform pages include Filters with Add Filter. Use filters to limit which orders the connection imports.

Open How import filters work in the Filters panel for a comparison. Choose an Order field, an Import condition, and values to match. Available fields depend on the integration.

Order filters with the same Order field and Import condition combine their values for each order type. The order must pass the combined rules.

For Item SKU, a filter accepts or skips the whole order; it does not remove individual items. The example below uses A and B as the listed SKUs.

SKU filter comparison for orders containing A, A and B, A and B and C, or C

Import condition A A + B A + B + C C
Only listed values allowed Import Import Skip Skip
Matches the list exactly Skip Import Skip Skip
No listed values allowed Skip Skip Skip Import
All listed values required Skip Import Import Skip

Separate Only listed values allowed SKU filters for A and B act as one list. An order containing only A can pass.

The table applies to SKU rules. Other fields can behave differently:

  • For single-value fields such as Shipping Country and Shipping Option, Matches a listed value accepts one listed value. Matches the list exactly cannot match these fields.
  • For Shopify Tags, either At least one listed tag matches condition accepts an order with any listed tag. Other tags are allowed.
  • Shopify Location filters select order lines and can remove lines from an order. Other import filters must also pass.

To add a rule, select Add Filter, choose the field and condition, enter the values, and select Save in the filter window. If Add Filter is missing, ask your company administrator for write access.

Reference: settings that may appear on a connection Each setting appears only when the connection supports it. | Setting | What it controls | |---|---| | **Mark Fulfillments** | Sends fulfillment and tracking updates back to the connected platform | | **Sync Shipping Cost** | Uses the shipping cost supplied by the connected platform | | **Pull Customs Value From** | Selects the Portal or connected platform as the source of customs values |

Connection health

If Floship cannot reach a connected store or service, the connection continues to be checked during the failure period.

  1. After 3 days of continuous failure, you receive an email warning.
  2. After 5 days of continuous failure, the connection becomes inactive and you receive another email.

Open the connection after a failure notice. Use Re-Authorize if it appears, or enter replacement credentials if the page requests them. Select Save after the available changes.

Troubleshooting

Issue Cause Solution
Integrations is not available Your user lacks integration access, or the account feature is not enabled Ask your company administrator or Account Manager
Cannot add a connection or select Save Your user has view-only integration access Ask your company administrator for write access
A connection is Inactive Someone disabled it, or the service stopped accepting the connection Open the card and follow any Re-Authorize or credential prompt before saving
Orders are not importing The connection is inactive, or Filters exclude those orders Check Status and review the connection's Filters
Tracking does not appear in the store Mark Fulfillments is off, or the connection does not support it Turn on Mark Fulfillments if the setting is available, then select Save

FAQ

Can I connect more than one store? Yes. Each connection appears as a separate card and has its own status and settings.

Does making a connection inactive delete imported data? No. It stops future synchronization. Orders and other data that were already imported remain available.

How quickly do new orders appear? Timing and synchronization behavior vary by service and account setup. Check the connection status and Filters first, then use Troubleshooting.

Can I choose which orders import? Some connections provide Filters with Add Filter. If the controls are available on the connection, add rules and select Save.
